Hi… we’re Sammy Jean & Marshmallow 

Sammy Jean here! I’m the gray tuxedo lady with a lot on my mind—and I will tell you all about it if you give me a chance. I love being talked to, petted, and fussed over… honestly, I’ve been waiting for someone to notice me. I’m starting to feel a little happier already, but I’ll admit—this whole change has been a bit stressful. My coat isn’t looking its best right now (a little extra fluff flying around, if you know what I mean), but I’d love a nice brushing. I think it would help me feel like myself again. Mostly, I just want to be loved—and I promise I’ll love you right back.

…and I’m Marshmallow. I’m the quiet one. You’ll probably find me tucked into my little corner, just taking everything in. It’s not that I don’t like people—I’m just still figuring things out. If you’re gentle and patient, I’ll let you give me some soft pets while I stay in my safe spot. I think I’m getting closer to feeling brave… especially now that I’m around some calm, older kitties. I have a feeling I’m going to come around soon. I just need a little time—and someone who understands that quiet love is still love.

We’re both hoping for the same thing: a soft place to land, kind hands, and a home where we can truly relax.
