Once upon a time, I was a very friendly street kitty, cared for by a kind woman who worked nearby. She made sure I was fed, safe, and never forgotten, and she always greeted me the same way, in French:
“Bonjour, mon amie!”
Hello, my friend.

And that’s how I got my name: Amie 💛

I truly live up to it. I’m one of the friendliest boys you’ll ever meet, happy to charm just about every kitty and hooman I encounter. 

When that wonderful lady helped bring me to the shelter, I wasted no time settling in, especially anywhere there were cozy blankets involved. I’m comfortable here, but what I really want is a home where I can be someone’s best friend.
